Electricity Subscription

Electricity has become one of the basic needs that will enable you to turn on the lights in your home, operate your white goods and use all your electricity-powered items. It is the first subscription that should be made when you move to a new house. When subscribing to electricity, an average assurance fee of 200-400 TL is taken by electricity companies. Afterward, this amount will be refunded to you after the subscription is canceled.

Documents required for electricity subscription are as follows:

  • Account or counter number
  • DASK (Compulsory Earthquake Insurance) policy
  • Photocopy of title deed
  • Building license, building registration document, or occupancy permit
  • Tax identification number
  • Original and photocopy of a valid passport
  • Power of Attorney or Certificate of Authority if action to be taken as an authorized or representative

Water Subscription

Water is the most valuable and essential ingredient of life. It is an indispensable need in our homes. For the water services we will use in our houses, it is necessary to have a water service subscription at the district municipality where the house is connected. The municipality charges an average of 400-700 TL for its water subscription. Some of these fees will be returned to you after the subscription is canceled.

Documents required for water subscription are as follows:

  • Original and photocopy of a valid passport
  • DASK (Compulsory Earthquake Insurance) policy
  • Photocopy of title deed
  • Building license, building registration document, or occupancy permit
  • Power of Attorney or Certificate of Authority if action to be taken as an authorized or representative

Natural Gas Subscription

You need to subscribe to natural gas service, which will supply you with heat at home, a gas stove, and hot water. Natural gas energy in Turkey is provided by private companies. Most of the properties in Istanbul are heated by a central heating system and natural gas subscription is not required, but the number of individual natural gas uses is considerably high. Subscription is required for individual uses. Applications for natural gas subscriptions are made to natural gas companies and the suitability of your home is checked. Once the suitability of your home is confirmed, you can make your subscription by paying an average of 700-1200 TL.

Documents required for natural gas subscription are as follows:

  • Original and photocopy of a valid passport
  • Tax identification number
  • DASK (Compulsory Earthquake Insurance) policy
  • Photocopy of title deed
  • Building license, building registration document, or occupancy permit
  • Power of Attorney or Certificate of Authority if action to be taken as an authorized or representative

Internet Subscription

The place of the internet in our lives is increasing day by day. We can do almost anything we can think of through the internet and this greatly facilitates our lives. At a time when the internet is so widely used, home internet subscription has become almost a necessity, just like basic needs. Internet connections in Turkey are provided by private companies. You can make your internet subscription application online or via the call center. The fee you will pay during the application will vary depending on the company you prefer.

  • Residence Permit
